Netflix has recovered from their three-day outtage, and is shipping flix to hungry fans once again. Customers seem to have been generally patient, but the down-time will still cost them millions. Their last major outage was in March.

The record labels have actually been beaten in court by someone they mistakenly sued for file sharing. They'll have to cover the legal expenses of their victim. We'll see where the countersuit goes.
But the labels haven't completely lost their ability to maim and destroy. Pandora could be in dire trouble due to inflated new fees that the government is requiring that pay record labels for its online radio service.
