Microsoft's code name "Albany" has it's official name now -
it's Equipt. For $70 a year it will keep three PCs updated with the latest software plus access to the full MS Office Suite. It
seems to be a response to Google Documents.
Blockbuster
changed their minds about Circuit City - they're not going to buy them after all. Their
stock went up, Circuit City's went down.
Microsoft may buy Yahoo. We've heard this all before,
and some people say it isn't true. But it was enough to push Yahoo stock up about 6%.
The 3G iPhone
won't be sold online - only in brick and mortar stores. And you'll have to activate it there to get that $199 price. As for your old one - you can
turn it into a touch if you deactivate the phone. Or
give it to a friend.
