TV advertisers ignore developments like these at their great peril - their audiences are shriveling to nothing rapidly. Those who are sticking around are increasingly watching through their DVR's.
TV types can't count on video quality to save the day either - Adobe has just brought HD-quality video to the Flash player that almost 99% of Internet users have.
As for the "A" side of A/V, RealNetworks is handing off its Rhapsody service to joint venture with MTV governed by a committee. We're not comfortable with MTV's online track record, but some Rhapsody lovers have high hopes.
So what does the next iPod Nano look like? Good luck finding out, because everyone whose been running pictures has been persuaded to yank them down.
